Empowering Welders Worldwide with Reliable Technology
Our Mission
To make professional-grade IGBT inverter welding technology accessible and affordable for workshops and fabricators in every corner of the world. We design machines that work reliably under the tough conditions our customers face daily -- unstable power grids, remote job sites, and demanding production environments where downtime is not an option.
Our Vision
To become the most trusted welding equipment brand in emerging industrial markets by 2030. We aim to serve 10,000+ active dealer and distributor partners globally, with local-language support, regional warehousing, and responsive after-sales service that sets a new standard for Chinese manufacturing.
From Startup Workshop to National SRDI Enterprise
2016 -- Foundation
Qingdao Bright Industry Co., Ltd. established. Started with a 500 m² workshop and 8 employees, focused on IGBT inverter arc welding machine R&D. First export shipment to Southeast Asia shipped in Q3 of our founding year.
2017 -- First CE Certification
Achieved CE certification for the core stick welder product line. Began regular exports to the Middle East and South American markets. Factory expanded to 1,200 m² to meet growing order volume.
2018-2019 -- Product Line Expansion
Launched TIG, MIG/MAG, and plasma cutting product lines. Developed proprietary IGBT inverter control platform. CSA certification achieved for North American market entry. Team grew to 25 employees.
2020 -- Factory Upgrade
Moved to current 5,000 m² facility in Qingdao. Established in-house SMT production line and automated testing stations. Despite global logistics disruptions, export volume grew 35% year-over-year as customers sought reliable alternative suppliers.
2021-2022 -- Technology Investment
Established Provincial Welding R&D Institute accreditation. Expanded R&D team to 5 dedicated engineers. Filed 12 new patents including wide-voltage tolerance circuits and digital arc force control. Began SiC semiconductor R&D for next-generation inverters.
2023 -- National SRDI "Little Giant" Recognition
Awarded National SRDI (Specialized, Refinement, Differential, Innovation) "Little Giant" enterprise designation -- a Chinese government recognition for technology-focused SMEs. This milestone validates our decade-long commitment to welding technology research and development.
2024-2026 -- Global Growth
70 employees. 50,000+ units annual capacity. Products shipped to 6 continents. Launched submerged arc welding and custom industrial power supply lines. Active dealer network in 40+ countries. ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system across all operations.
Engineers Who Weld, Not Just Design
Our engineering team does not just design circuits -- they weld. Every R&D engineer spends time on the production floor and at customer sites, understanding how our machines perform in real conditions. This hands-on culture means:
- 5 full-time R&D engineers with combined 40+ years of power electronics and welding process experience
- In-house SMT production -- we control the entire PCB assembly process from component placement to wave soldering, ensuring consistency batch after batch
- 11-step quality gate system -- every machine passes component inspection, SMT AOI, board-level testing, assembly QC, burn-in testing, full-load testing, arc performance testing, insulation testing, final inspection, packaging inspection, and pre-shipment random sampling
- Continuous improvement culture -- weekly engineering reviews incorporate field feedback and warranty data into design refinements, so each production batch is better than the last
Our production team averages 6+ years of welding machine manufacturing experience. We invest in ongoing training and cross-functional skill development, which directly translates to consistent build quality batch after batch.
BrightWelding vs Typical Welding Machine Suppliers
| Factor | BrightWelding | Typical Trading Company |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturing | Own factory, in-house SMT line, direct quality control from component to finished product | Resells from third-party factories, no production oversight or quality control authority |
| R&D Capability | 5 engineers, proprietary IGBT platform, 19 patents, active SiC semiconductor R&D program | No R&D -- resells whatever the factory produces with no input on design or quality |
| Certifications | CE, CSA certified on owned product lines. Certificates directly verifiable with issuing bodies. | May share certificates from unknown factories. Verify carefully before relying on them. |
| OEM Customization | Deep customization: color, panel layout, voltage, welding parameters, full branding package | Logo sticker only -- no technical customization capability or design authority |
| Quality Control | 11-step QC gates, component-level traceability, full-load burn-in testing on every unit | Visual inspection only. No burn-in testing or systematic quality gates. |
| Warranty Support | 1-year warranty, spare parts at cost, growing international dealer repair network | Limited or no after-sales support. One-time transaction mentality. |
| Technical Support | Engineers who weld. Application-specific machine recommendations based on real experience. | Sales staff with limited technical knowledge. Generic product recommendations. |
| Voltage Options | 110V to 690V, all phases, custom frequencies. Wide-voltage design with ±15% tolerance. | Standard voltages only. Fixed voltage tolerance -- no customization available. |
