Become a Welding Equipment Dealer — Partner with BrightWelding

Join our global network of welding equipment distributors.

The Welding Equipment Market Is Growing — And Fragmented

The global welding equipment market surpassed USD 20 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow at over 5% CAGR through 2033, driven by infrastructure investment, shipbuilding, renewable energy construction, and industrial automation across developing economies. Yet the market remains fragmented — dominated by a few premium-priced Western brands and a long tail of uncertified, low-quality alternatives. BrightWelding occupies the strategic middle: certified quality at a price point that leaves margin for distributors.

Why Partner with BrightWelding?

We invest in our dealers because your success is our market share. Here is what you get as an authorized BrightWelding dealer.

Exclusive Territory Protection

Your market, your customers. We assign exclusive geographic territories to each authorized dealer — no competing BrightWelding dealers in your region. Territory boundaries are defined in the dealer agreement, typically by country for national distributors or by province/state for regional dealers. This protects your marketing investment and customer relationships. Leads generated from your territory are referred exclusively to you.

Preferred Dealer Pricing

Competitive ex-works pricing with tiered volume discounts that reward growth. As your annual order volume increases, your unit cost decreases across all product categories. We offer quarterly volume rebates for dealers exceeding targets, early-payment discounts (typically 2-3%), and promotional pricing on new product launches. Our pricing structure is transparent — no hidden fees, no retroactive adjustments.

Marketing Support Package

You receive a complete marketing toolkit: high-resolution product photography (white background and in-use), product demonstration videos, technical specification sheets in editable format, social media content calendar, exhibition booth graphics, and co-branded catalogs. We also provide co-marketing funds for qualified dealers attending trade shows — typically 50% of booth cost up to an agreed annual limit. Digital assets are refreshed quarterly.

Technical Training Program

Comprehensive training for your sales and service teams. Online training modules cover product features, competitive comparisons, and application-specific selling. On-site training (at your location or our factory) covers hands-on welding demonstrations, troubleshooting, and repair procedures. Annual dealer conferences in Qingdao provide product updates, market intelligence sharing, and peer networking. Training certification is provided for all completed modules.

Reliable Spare Parts Supply

Dedicated spare parts inventory with guaranteed stock levels for all current product models. Parts are dispatched within 48 hours of order confirmation. We provide a recommended spare parts inventory list based on your installed base, with quarterly review to adjust stock levels. Parts warranty matches the product warranty period. Critical components (IGBT modules, control boards, rectifiers) are stocked in depth to support your after-sales service commitments.

Warranty & After-Sales Backing

12-month standard warranty on all products, with BrightWelding handling warranty claims processing and replacement part supply. Your role as dealer is first-line customer contact — we handle the technical and logistical backend. Warranty claim approval is typically within 48 hours. Defective parts are replaced from stock without waiting for return shipment. Extended warranty programs are available as a dealer upsell opportunity with margin sharing.

Frequently Asked Questions from Prospective Dealers

What are the requirements to become a BrightWelding dealer?

We look for: (1) an established business with existing distribution channels in your territory — typically welding supply, industrial equipment, or hardware distribution; (2) a physical presence (warehouse, showroom, or service center); (3) technical capability to provide first-line customer support and basic repairs, or willingness to invest in training; (4) financial capacity to place initial orders and maintain inventory. We do not require exclusivity — you can carry complementary product lines alongside BrightWelding. Minimum first-year purchase commitment is negotiable based on territory size and market maturity.

How does territory protection work in practice?

Your dealer agreement defines an exclusive geographic territory — typically a country for national distributors or a specific region for sub-distributors. BrightWelding will not appoint another dealer or sell directly to customers within your territory. All website and trade show inquiries from your territory are referred to you. If a customer from outside your territory contacts us, we refer them to the dealer covering that region. Territory boundaries are reviewed annually and can be expanded based on performance. We do not sell on Amazon or other online marketplaces in territories covered by active dealers.

What is the typical profit margin for dealers?

Dealer gross margins typically range from 35% to 50%, depending on product category and order volume. Higher-margin categories include TIG welders, plasma cutters, and accessories/consumables. Volume tier discounts improve your effective margin as annual purchases increase. Additionally, we offer: quarterly rebates (1-3%) for exceeding volume targets, promotional pricing on new product launches (enabling introductory offers to your customers), and co-op marketing funds that reduce your customer acquisition cost. Most dealers achieve full ROI on their initial inventory investment within 6-9 months.

Can I sell BrightWelding products under my own brand (OEM/private label)?

Yes. Many of our dealers operate a dual strategy: distributing BrightWelding-branded products while also carrying a private-label line manufactured by us under OEM agreement. This gives you both a recognized brand and a house brand with higher margins. The OEM arrangement is separate from the dealer agreement and has its own MOQ and terms. Dealers receive preferential OEM pricing. See our OEM Service page for details on private label manufacturing.

What kind of warranty support do you provide to dealers?

Standard warranty is 12 months from date of sale to end user. Warranty process: (1) Customer reports issue to you; (2) You perform basic diagnosis using our troubleshooting guide; (3) Submit warranty claim with diagnosis to us — approval within 48 hours; (4) We ship replacement parts at our cost via express courier; (5) You complete the repair or replacement. For complex failures, we provide video-call diagnostic support to your technician. Defective parts do not need to be returned before replacements are shipped — we trust our dealers. A small warranty parts buffer stock is included with your initial order at no charge.

What shipping and logistics support do you offer?

We ship from Qingdao port on FOB or CIF terms, whichever you prefer. Standard container loading: 20-foot container holds approximately 150-250 welding machines depending on model mix; 40-foot container holds 350-500 units. We can consolidate multiple product types in one container and provide optimized loading plans to maximize space utilization. Air freight is available for urgent orders or trial shipments — typical transit time 5-10 days door-to-door. We work with all major shipping lines and can coordinate with your nominated freight forwarder. All export documentation (Certificate of Origin, CE DoC, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading) is provided at no additional cost.
